readingredhead | Tiffany's and other extravagances

First, it's my birthday today! I have to go to school (meh), but at least I'm a year older. Wait, that doesn't sound like a good thing... Oh well.

Possibly the more amazing thing than my increase in age would be the present I got from my younger sister. She'd been planning something big, I knew, and something expensive, because she mentioned owing mom and dad a lot of money. But I honestly had no idea until I opened up my present...

...and found a silver necklace from Tiffany's.

I mean, I don't even have that kind of money, and if I did, I wouldn't spend it. My sister definitely doesn't have that kind of money. But the necklace is gorgeous. I'll try to post a picture later, but it's a round silver disk about the size of a quarter hanging on a silver chain. The back's engraved with my initials.

Times like this remind me how much I love my sister. She's easily one of the most giving people in the world -- she gives things to everyone, because she loves to see people happy. And everyone loves her for it; I know I do.

Well, I have to go to school, but I just had to write that down.
