School's Out!
This time tomorrow I will be waiting in the LAX airport to get on a plane to take me to LONDON!!!
Okay, that was my hysterical shout-out of the moment. I'd really rather not have to wait in the airport at all, but apparently we're supposed to get there three hours before our flight leaves.
Three hours.
Three hours in an airport, not wanting to read my books or listen to music or play on my pocket PC for fear that I'll finish the book/use up my batteries. So I'll be bored out of my skull for three hours.
Well, at least whatever part of the three hours we don't use checking in and going through all of that stuff. And I guess I can always play cards...
And, if those three hours seem daunting, I really shouldn't be flying international, considering that we're flying straight from LA to London, which is about a 12-hour flight.
I plan on sleeping. A lot.
But now I have things to do, like pack and sleep and write an e-mail to the best science fiction writer ever since I just finished reading her most recent novel. (Yummy. Katherine knows what I'm talking about.)
Goodbye, until tomorrow!
