But, on a happier note, I had a pretty good day. Went to a going-away party for Irene, who's spending first semester in Japan through AFS, and met one of Irene's friends who's a writer. She seemed like a really cool person; we exchanged e-mails and the like, and I'm looking forward both to reading the story she's working on (she explained a bit of it to me) as well as having an unbiased reader of my own story (or materials related to my own story -- we all know I'm freakishly paranoid about other people reading my writing).

Yeah, that's the positive thing of the day for me. Oh, and we played planet tag with Irene as a Martian and I was actually on the winning side! Yay!

Um...yeah. That's about it. I really should go read more C&P right now, or shower, but I'm happy with myself because I just went back and revised the short story that I wrote in London, and I like it a lot better now. Amazing how much can happen because of just a few small changes...

Yeah, but I really am going to shower now, because I know I need to be productive.
