Well, I made it back alive. Unfortunately, the ridiculous climate within the airplane (cold and dry) appears to have lowered my natural immunities and somehow gotten me sick. I went to bed last night feeling fine and woke up in the middle of the night with a stuffy nose. I kind of ignored it, but then I started to get a sinus headache. Took Advil, but it's still around (if slightly tempered). I don't want to get off my couch, but mom's coming home soon and I know I'll have to help her unpack stuff.

See? And you probably thought I was a pill popper when I kept on about my sinus medicine at Stanford.

I'm not a pharmacist, but if it's a sinus infection, try out Tylenol Sinus or (if you're feeling lucky) something that still has Dexadrine in it.

Oh, believe me, I will ever make fun of someone for being a pill popper. My mother is a nurse, so I've always been brought up to take the medicine! I'm on allergy meds, which I wasn't able to take the day we traveled, which didn't help things. I usually use Sudafed, and Advil if I get sinus headaches. Thanks for the advice though, and the encouragement. I'm already a lot better (probably has something to do with actually sleeping).

Sleep is nice.
