Humanities.

I just found a quote that I also could have used in my Humanities essay:

"No two historians ever agree on what happened, and the damn thing is they both think they're telling the truth." Harry S. Truman

That would've been so perfect, especially when used in conjunction with the Einstein quote about insanity which gives the scientists' perspective. If only I had more words!

Interesting, Missouri-related footnote to your post: Harry S Truman should be written as such because his middle name is, in fact, "S". It doesn't stand for anything; that's it.

That's your offbeat Missouri president history of the day.

Didn't he add the "S" to his name because he thought it sounded better or something like that? Like, it wasn't originally his "middle name", if you so wish to call it. *shrug* Additional possible trivia?

I actually knew that, but it's such a reflex to put the period after a "middle initial."
