For me, community college is too much of the same thing. Same city, same level of difficutly (if not easier!) than high school...a little too close to home for me, at least. No change of scene, no newness. No chance to change your life.

But that's just my opinion -- how it works for me. I understand when others decide to go to community colleges; it just doesn't seem like a viable alternative for me.
