Found this on the collegeboard website. From the looks of it, the themes they list below are a good example of possible essay question themes. Yeah, they're hellaciously broad, but I figured I'd post them anyway...

Ooh, I have more info, though -- as far as what the DBQ or essays might be on--

My dad went and talked to the AP US teacher at his school. This teacher is apparently obsessed w/ predicting the test and has been pretty good at it in the past. Apparently, he thinks that the DBQ will either be 50s or 60s, and that one of the essays will be on civil rights/liberties & the abuses our gov't has leveled against them.

I don't know how reliable of a source this is but I kinda wanna trust him because that's stuff I could write on.

It's me, Irene! Deanna forced me to join live journal. Good luck on your AP test in history... I don't see how you can manage taking more than one a year, but hey, you're Candace - if it's academic, you can do it!

I would like to correct something here: I did not FORCE Irene to join. I was on, she was on the comp next to me, and bored 'cuz it was 6th period, and decided to join.

Anyway... your test is probably over by now... and we all know you'll get a 5, 'cuz you're you... but good luck anyway!
