I rule you all with my amazing gavel-ness!

Yes, as the title of this probably states fairly clearly, today I took home my second MUN gavel for participating in UCI's thirteenth annual conference (lucky 13). This makes me one of two people in my class to be in possession of two gavels, and the other guy also got his second one today. (Come to think of it, he got his first gavel at the same conference at which I got mine, as well.) It was really funny -- when I went up to accept it from my chair, she asked me if I was aware that I was shaking noticeably. That's how excited I was.

As I was saying, though... This makes me very happy. And then to top it off my school got the delegation award for medium-sized school -- basically because of our two gavels. We were the only ones to win any.

And at last, MUN is over for this year. I can't say I'll miss it too much over the summer. But by the time school starts again I'll be ready for another conference...

And now I should do the homework that I didn't have the time to do this weekend. My MUN teacher is nuts -- about half of our class went to this conference and therefore has no weekend, yet we have a test over 5 chapters of material tomorrow.

Still, not too much can ruin the crazy euphoria I'm experiencing right now.
