Heh. You know you're an MUNer when...
Aug. 31st, 2005 09:54 amThis is great. So I sat down at 9:00 and told myself I'd write on my topic synopsis until 10:00. I didn't think I'd get much done, but I wanted to get a start on it. My topic is the Rights of Orphaned Children, and I'm finally in UNICEF as a chair.
I have just "written" 1,109 words in an hour. But I say "written" in quotation marks for a reason -- of that count, only 275 words were actually written today. I pulled all of the other information from past topic synopses, position papers, and resolutions I had written. It's not plagiarizing since it was all my own work to begin with, but I was basically able to copy and paste my old stuff into my new document and now I'm done with three out of the seven parts of the paper. Of the four left, one will be hard (Past UN Actions), and the rest will be really pathetically easy (Questions to Answer, Bloc Positions, and Sources).
I'm so happy it's almost funny.
And to top it all off I am almost done with summer reading.
I think I might take today off and do absolutely nothing in celebration.
