I have the need RIGHT NOW to read something completely and utterly inspiring--something that will make me feel so much more myself, so much more real and so much more a part of a real world. I need a book that will wake me up, that will be the axe to the frozen sea within me, as Kafka would say: a book that will affect me like a disaster.
