readingredhead1. I am allowed to unabashedly love everything about the French: their language, their food, their strange ideas about workweeks and vacation time, and those pesky revolutions.
2. I am allowed to be irreverent with British literature. I don't have to treat Jane Austen as my maiden aunt and I don't have to worship Charles Dickens.
