I've probably read more books than this, but I've been starting and stopping...currently I'm in the middle of Jane Eyre, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, and the September issue of The Magazine of Fantasy and Science Fiction, which I actually managed to find (finally) in the Berkeley student union bookstore.

That's really about it.  I'm just hanging out around campus today, probably writing a little and actually accomplishing stuff.  I'd love to hear from all of you guys...

I have another book I think you might like, if I ever get it back from my friend. It's called "The Rose and the Beast" and it's a retelling of fairytales, most of them in a modern setting. Not that original, I know, but it's written by Francesca Lia Block (I don't know if you've read anything of hers, but she has a really distinctive style. I can't decide if you'd like it or not, and I kind of want to know. Haha).

Let me know if you're interested and I can bring it to you when I visit. Whenever that is.
And also, I'll bring you America: The Book. Because it just has to be read.

I'm definitely interested in that book! THe crazy thing is, I totally read about it last night! I was looking up Beauty and the Beast retellings on wikipedia and I found it...it's kind of eerie that you're recommending it to me a few days later, but at least I know it'll be good.

I ended up reading America the Book because Rick has a copy. Also, Meagan brought hers up so I can always borrow it if I am lacking Jon Stewart in my life. :)

Seriously, I can't say this enough: you're always welcome in my dorm if you come up to visit.
