Confidence

To the LJ Owner: Answer the following questions truthfully.
To the LJ Viewers: Respond to explain why if you disagree with the LJ Owner and then fill this out in your own LJ.
*~The Confidence Game~*
[1] Are you pretty? Sometimes, both when I'm trying to look pretty and when I'm not trying. But looking pretty and feeling pretty are different things...and in my experience, feeling pretty is more satisfying.
[2] Do you look better with make-up? Well, like Steph said, the whole point of make-up is sort of to make you look better. I probably do look better when I've got on cover-up and such. But like I said above, there's how you look and how you feel, and I don't need make-up to feel better.
[3] Are you at a good weight? Yes, very. I lost weight in Europe and I've been working to keep it off.
[4] Are you fat? No.
[5] Do you read beauty/fashion magazines? No.
[6] How does your body look? Long legs, short torso. Fairly well-proportioned. Not too tall but not short (despite what my dad says).
[7] Are your outfits revealing/sexy? Well, I don't dress "revealing" (unless those Old Navy tank tops count like my grandma thinks they do), but I think "sexy" is up to who's looking. It is my secret hope that someone out there thinks I look sexy in my everyday clothes.
[8] What about you attracts the opposite sex? I suppose that depends on which member of the opposite sex you ask. I'm hoping that some of them are attracted by my brains and my personality.
[9] Are your feet big? No.
[10] Are you happy with your body's appearance when you sit down? Uh...yeah. Why wouldn't I be?
[11] Do other opinions influence how you see yourself? I'll have to again agree with the almighty Steph Brown that I am influenced at times by people's good opinions of me, but rarely moved by any bad opinions.
[12] Are you talented? Everyone has their own talent. So yes, I'm talented. I like to think my talents come in the areas of writing and (at times) speaking.
[13] Do you force yourself to conform? Heh. That's a funny one. I am very definitely not a conformist. I am proud of who I am and don't think that I should be the same as everyone else.
[14] Does the camera love you? Mostly in pictures I just look okay. But my sister (the aspiring photographer) has taken some candid shots of me and then showed them to me later, and I think I look really beautiful in those.
[15] Are your role models the opposite of who you are? Not really. Right now my mom is my biggest role model, and I'd like to think that I'm sort of like her, except less amazing.
[16] Do you listen to happy music? Um, that really depends. Sometimes. Usually I listen to music based on my mood. I'd say I listen to "happy music," though.
[17] Do you have many friends? The perfect number.
[18] Do your friends like you? Isn't that a bit of a ridiculous question? If they don't like me, then why are they my friends? Yes, I think my friends like me and respect me.
[19] Do you make fun of people? Well...I'd say "doesn't everyone?" but just because everyone does it doesn't make it right. I don't make fun of people so much as I just get pulled in to gossip and then tag along...but I know it's not right. It's a bad habit I'm working on.
[20] Do you want to be somebody else? No. I like who I am. At times I want to have done one thing that someone else did (mostly to have written their book instead of them), but overall my life is mine and is therefore unique, and I woudln't trade it in for someone else's. Everyone has their ups and downs in life, even people who seem perfect.
