Heh...oh those Brits.

So I just spent two and a half hours playing, of all things, cricket.
It was actually really fun, I'll have to admit. A large portion of that probably had to do with the fact that we were playing with Mr. Opkins, Shashank, Scott Sunnell, Aryeh, Mike, Rick, and other entertaining people. It was actually pretty funny -- apparently Mike (a sophomore and friend of Rick's) lives right across the street from me. So when Rick came to his house to go play cricket at the field below Del Cerro (the elementary school in my neighborhood), they both stopped the postman and asked him where I lived.
So at around 2:00 when I was just about to start math homework, they showed up at my front door and told me I should come play cricket, along with the rest of the MVHS cricket club. I did about half an hour of homework, decided the rest could wait, and joined them for one and a half games. I actually started to get the hang of things toward the end, and I had fun -- I'd forgotten how great it is to play team sports. I think I'm going to go to the cricket club meeting next Friday...
Other than that, nothing interesting has happened to me today. Wait, I take that back -- I bought pretty yarn at Target for a dollar a skein. That was cool.
And now I feel bad because I should be working on Vargish homework, so I'm off!
