Apr. 7th, 2006 06:25 pmOne song, glory--
One song before I go.
Glory--one song to leave behind...
Will I lose my dignity,
Will someone care?
Will I wake tomorrow from this nightmare?
People killin', people dyin',
Children hurt, can you hear them crying?
Can you practice what you preach?
Or will you turn the other cheek?
I'm through accepting limits
'Cause someone says they're so.
Some things I cannot change,
But till I try I'll never know!
We are broken, we are bitter,
We're the problem, we're the politicans
Watching for our skies to get torn apart...
There's only us, there's only this.
Forget regret, or life is yours to miss
No other road, no other way.
No day but today.
How do you measure, measure a year?
But when I look at the stars, I see someone else
When I look at the stars, the stars
I feel like myself.
