Psalm 24

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leades me beside still waters, He restores my soul. Yea though I walk through the valley of the Shadow of Death, I shall fear no evil, for You are with me. Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

For some reason, this kept running through my head last night as I lay awake worrying about Calculus -- which, at the time, seemed much worse than traversing the Valley of the Shadow of Death.

I only post this here because, oddly enough, my father quoted it today in a completely unrelated conversation. Well, slightly related -- still about APs, just about English Lit instead of Calculus. It kind of makes me think. How imporant are APs, really? Even IB -- there are plenty of people who live without it. I am not, nor will ever be, one of them...but maybe the fact that they exist will allow me to (at times) remove some of the pressure from myself.
