So I thought I'd tell you -- I think I'm okay. I'm better than I was earlier, at any rate. I had a long conversation with one far-off friend, and an e-mail from another one, which really helped. Luke, I've said it before but I'll say it again: thanks for the story. And Katherine, thanks for just talking. I really ought to mail you Christmas/Solstice presents.

Homework stinks, as usual -- but at least it means the world goes on. I have this nagging feeling that I won't get anything done today. I just got back from doing some Christmas shopping, but I think I bought more things for myself than for anyone else. But how can you blame me -- I now have a fuzzy black peacoat and knee-high socks.

I'm going out later tonight with my family to see Eragon. I hope it's good -- I wasn't impressed by the book, but when I read it I thought it would make a better movie. Now I'm off to see if that's true...

Urgh, and I still have things to do! The word never stops...but if it did, I think that would be bad as well, so I suppose I shouldn't complain.
