So Princeton's application asks me for two words my friends would use to describe me. Obviously, you guys are better at coming up with those than I am, so...me, in two words? Please comment.
Supporting – I say this because you really help me grow. You’re an inspiration because you don’t just think about doing stuff (writing) you actually buckle down and do it. Do you remember what you posted in reply when I felt completely mechanical and inhuman? That kept me going this past semester.
You aren’t exactly ‘supportive’ because you don’t just say what I’m doing is great. You’re like those little green stick things that people tie the wimpy ivy-type plants to so that they don’t die and fall all over the ground. Some people can grow, but they need something to grab onto and borrow strength from first. Now, I wasn’t around you for very long, but you struck me as one of those people that supports others like those green stick things. (Oh, eloquent word choice, I know.)
Refreshing – Not in a cheeky ‘fresh’ manner, but more of a revitalizing one. You’re like a breath of fresh air or a drink of cold water in that you keep things interesting. But you don’t have to go out of your way to be strange to do so.
